Welcome to the Driftwood frame which is perfect for my pencil pet portrait - especially if you live near the coast! It has a wonderful driftwood feel with a bluish wash colour allowing you to see a little of the wood underneath. This moulding actually comes in four chalky shades - Charcoal, Sandstone, Whitewash and the frame below which is French Grey.
The frame has a very shabby chic with a distressed effect, a roughish texture with a beachy feel. The mouldings are hand finished in Italy so no two mouldings are identical. Amanda makes this frame bespoke for each of my clients and if you are interested in having this moulding for your portrait, drop me an email and I will get a quote for you.
I finally have a picture of Dani with her portrait. She doesn't seem to like all the lights on the camera so she does not look too happy. Believe it or not, I have not gotten it hung up yet. It sits propped up on the coffee table right where I can see it. I will send a picture when it finds it final place. I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed both Dani's and Zack's pet portraits. Thanks so much.
